WTF? You pay your car tax in Alexandria the year AFTER? I don't understand this personal property tax business. I assumed when I went & paid & got a sticker I was paying for THAT year. I'm sitting in the Smithsonian sculpture garden watching the ice skaters (ironic for a 63 degree day) and thinking it would be nice to do a museum/skating Saturday. Anyone game?

Well today at work turned out to be pretty ok. I was worried since I'd only slept for about 90 minutes but lunch was steady, customers were nice (with one glaring exception), I made good money for lunch and I got gifts! I'm delayed in Houston for at least three hours due to weather. The first flight was weird. A woman passed out in the aisle & the doctor & emt who happened to be on board attended to her. Everyone and everything was annoying me today, despite a real upswing in my mood & momentum this week, so I took a walk. I ended upon Shirlington where I got a smoothie because I have no groceries.
